Q) How many people can stay in your Orlando vacation homes?

A) The villas have 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed, 1 double/single bunk bed and a cot so can therefore accommodate 6 people plus an infant comfortably.

Q) How do I find the vacation rental and gain access?

A) On receiving the full balance which is due 12 weeks before you arrive we will e-mail you with full directions to our holiday home. All our vacation rentals use a Resortlock access system and we will provide you with the access code so upon arrival you just go straight to the holiday accommodation, there is no need to visit our management company.

Q) Must I bring my own towels?

A) Both bathroom towels and pool towels are provided along with a large selection of bed linen. The beds will be made upon your arrival but if you wish to change the sheets during your stay then the washing machine and tumble dryer are available for your use.

Q) Must I pay extra to use the BBQ?

A) We provide a gas barbeque free of charge however you may need to fill up the gas tank which will be your responsibility.

Q) Are your Orlando vacation rentals close to Disney and other parks?

A) The villas are only 10 minutes from Walt Disney World, Sea World is 20 minutes away and Universal 30 minutes. This is one of the major reasons this is such a sought after area.

Q) Are your Orlando vacation rental homes far away from the airports?

A) Orlando international airport is approx 18 miles away and will take about 30 minutes, Sanford airport is 50 miles away and takes about 55 minutes. The journey to the villa is mainly on highways which makes it easy for first time drivers abroad to get used to the roads. Whilst Sanford is further away it is a much smaller airport and therefore quicker to get through immigration and collect your hire car, in fact we prefer to arrive at this airport.

Q) My flight arrives late so can groceries be provided for our arrival?

A) Yes for an additional cost of $50/£40 our management company can supply a welcome pack containing the following items - bread, butter, jam, milk, ham, fresh orange juice, coke, coffee, tea bags, sugar and cookies. This list is just a guide and some of these items may be replaced by alternatives when necessary.

Q) Are your Orlando vacation homes near any shops?

A) Our Lake Berkley villa is situated directly behind the 24hr Walmart which sells practically everything including food, drinks, clothes, electrical goods, sporting goods, household items, games, souvenirs, Disney merchandise, there's even a McDonalds in there in case you get hungry while shopping. Chatham Park is less than 3 miles away.

Along the 192 there are many shops including golf shops, souvenir shops and sport shops so it's well worth driving up and down to see what takes your fancy. For shopping centres we would recommend the Orlando premium outlets mall, Florida mall and if you're feeling a bit flush the Millenia mall at the top of international drive.

Q) Are your Orlando Vacation Homes near any good restaurants?

A) There are many, many restaurants on the 192 and the Lake Buena Vista area unfortunately we've not managed to try them all however the rule does seem to be that most food is good and the portions are huge so bear this in mind before ordering a starter. Our favourites are Chili's for chicken & ribs, Olive Garden for italian and Bahama Breeze for caribbean.

Q) Are your Orlando villas non-smoking?

A) Yes I'm afraid that smoking is not allowed within the villa which is fitted with smoke detectors, however it is permitted outside in the pool area.

Q) Does your holiday accommodation allow pets?

A) No we do not allow any pets no matter how well behaved.

Q) How often is the pool cleaned & do we need pool heating?

A) The pool is maintained on a weekly basis. We recommend pool heating for the months October through to April. When paying for pool heat you must ensure that the pool is covered overnight with the plastic cover provided.

Q) What temperature does the pool reach with electric pool heating?

A) The pool temperature is set to approximately 86 degrees.

Q) Do the Florida holiday homes have pool area alarms?

A) Yes there are alarms connected to all doors leading from the villas to the pool areas.

Q) Is the pool area overlooked?

A) Unlike some villas that back onto neighbouring properties our villas have unrestricted views over a lake and hedging exists on both sides of the pool areas to provide additional privacy.

Q) Are the villas fully licensed?

A) Yes all our properties are fully licensed for short term rental.

Q) Who do I contact if I have any questions/problems during my stay?

A) Our management company is available 24hrs a day, we will provide you with a contact number prior to your stay and their details can also be found in the villa.

Q) What is ESTA?

A) ESTA stands for Electronic System for Travel Authorisation. Travellers to the US from the UK and many other European countries are required to complete an online ESTA application prior to travelling. This replaces the US visa waiver program and without it you won't be able to enter the USA. To apply visit the official ESTA website.
